MEA Files Unfair Labor Practice

For Immediate Release...
The Marion Education Association last week filed a complaint of Unfair Labor Practice with the Public Employees Relations Commission (PERC) against the Marion County Public Schools. The complaint follows action by the District to unlawfully award bargaining unit work to non-bargaining unit personnel.
Update: PERC has fund sufficiency in our ULP and has scheduled a hearing for March 25, 2013. More information will be forthcoming. Stay tuned!
